Minor League Wrap-Up, ver 4.16

How does a pitcher strike out the side on eight pitches? It happened in the IronPigs game in Worcester on Saturday and unfortunately, it wasn’t a Lehigh Valley pitcher who accomplished the feat. Darwinzon Hernandez struck out Austin Wynns courtesy of a pitch clock violation on Wynns for an automatic strike and it came on a 1-2 count. Earlier in the inning, Drew Maggi also had an automatic strike called on him during his at-bat. Just one of the many things that happened throughout the Phillies organization Saturday.
